Iurij Cussianovich is a repeat entrepreneur and manager with broad and diverse experience in operations, creative marketing strategies, and branding initiatives. He is a hands-on, roll-up the sleeves "doer" who has coordinated interdisciplinary teams and has developed and implemented multi-channel marketing campaigns in both mature and untapped markets across the Americas.
Iurij founded his first company at the age of 21. He conceptualized and spearheaded growth strategies for a chain of clothing stores that became the leader in its market, growing a few thousand dollar investment into a multi-million dollar retail business in under 4 years.
Later, Iurij led project teams at branding agency Graj+Gustavsen to develop and promote brand awareness for renowned international brands, including Harley-Davidson, Adrianna Papell and Brooks Brothers. Most recently, Iurij ran his own boutique agency focused on branding, marketing, and creative strategy. There, he led several brand development strategies for multi-million dollar projects for public and private clients, including the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB).
Iurij is a polymath who thrives in multicultural environments. He takes pride in applying critical thinking to both design and business problems, while promoting this skill in his teams. He values Human Relationships above all and harvesting and protecting them is at the core of everything he does.
Iurij has a bachelor’s degree in Product Design and a master’s degree in Global Fashion Management from FIT. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
