As MetaProp's Institutional Sales Lead, Kristen Kocis manages, establishes, and builds relationships with top local, national, and international institutional investors. She also assists with the development of the overall investor relations strategy and coordination of relationship management at MetaProp.
Kristen has significant experience in investor relations and raising capital. She has done this most recently at Cebile Capital, a placement agent, where she was focused on North American distribution. Prior to Cebile, Kristen spent over 4 years working at Lazard Asset Management, focusing on Institutional sales, marketing, and client services for corporate clients, public pensions, family offices, endowments, and foundations, and RIAs. Before joining Lazard Asset Management, Kristen spent over 2 years working at Perella Weinberg Partners working in an Investor Relations capacity and over 3 years working at the Royal Bank of Canada working for their Alternative Asset Group. Kristen started her career at KBC Financial Products working on the FOF team.
Kristen holds a B.A. in Economics from New York University. Outside of work, Kristen is committed to volunteerism and has been a member of one of the largest women’s nonprofit in NYC, The New York Junior League, for over 10 years. She has recently been selected as an incoming member of the New York Junior League’s Management Council.
In her spare time, Kristen can be found on the slopes skiing, playing tennis, exploring new restaurants, and traveling. Despite completing the NYC Marathon, her greatest personal accomplishment is her victory in a Mick Jagger walk off.
