Dave Congdon joined MetaProp as Senior Advisor to focus on strategy, investor relations and product development.
Dave brings over 30 years' experience in real estate investment, leading teams and operating partners, raising and deploying capital and managing portfolios and assets on behalf of institutional and individual investors. His investment and advisory experience includes start-up and emerging growth businesses outside of the real estate sector as well.
With global development and investment firm, Hines, for 19 years, he was responsible for the creation and management of Hines’ US Office Value Added Funds, three discretionary investment vehicles with over $1.2 billion of equity capital. Additionally, he was instrumental in developing and executing the investment strategy for a programmatic joint venture that invested over $2 billion of equity for the acquisition and development of office property nationally.
Prior to Hines, he honed his real estate transactions and management skillsets at Lend Lease Real Estate Investments (The Yarmouth Group), First Boston Corporation and The Chase Manhattan Bank.
Dave is past member of the board of NAREIM, the Executive Committee of the Zell/Lurie Center at the Wharton School, ULI and PREA. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from Trinity College with a BA in Economics.
